Teaser Trailer: “Godzilla x Kong: New Empire”

The sequel to 2021’s live-action Godzilla vs. Kong was quickly announced by Warner Bros. Pictures in the wake of that film’s succees. However, little was noted about the project, other than it would continue the storyline, marking the fifth feature in Legendary Pictures’ “Monsterverse” and that Your’e Next helmer Adam Wingard would return. However, WB has finally dropped a trailer for the follow-up, which is titled Godzilla x Kong: New Empire.

return to the director’s chair after directing the first of the team-up films which followed in the wake of “Godzilla,” “Kong: Skull Island” and “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”.

This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own.

The new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle return from prior entries, while Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House join the cast. Terry Rosario returns to pen the script with Jeremy Slater and Simon Barrett.

“Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” is set to arrive in theaters on March 15th 2024.
