Trailer: Hulu and Amy Schumer’s “Life & Beth”

Following on from their recent successes with quirky dramedies featuring well-known comedians, such as Only Murders in the Building, Hulu has dropped the first trailer for Life & Beth, which stars Amy Schumer and Michael Cera as the leads.

The series will follow Beth, as played by Schumer, who seems to have the perfect life. On the surface, she is a successful business woman, running her own wine distributor, living in Manhattan. Personally, things seem just as great, as she’s in a long-term relationship with a man just as well-off as her. However, things aren’t quite as idyllic as they seem, and when Beth is forced to confront her past after an unfortunate incident, she’ll find the she might not like the person she’s become and she’ll work on turning herself into a more authentic version of herself.

Life & Beth is set to debut on Hulu on March18th and also stars Susannah Flood, Violet Young, Michael Rapaport, Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, Larry Owens, Rosebud Walker and LaVar Walker as part of its ensemble and was written, directed, executive-produced by Schumer herself. Kevin Kane, Daniel Powell and Ryan McFaul are also onboard as executive producers through Endeavor Content.
