Trailer: Gary Oldman Stars In “Crisis”
Quiver Distribution has released the trailer for their upcoming film, Crisis. The dramatic thriller stars Gary Oldman as Dr. Tyrone Brower, a man thrust into the midst of a conspiracy involving drugs, cartels and kidnapping.
The story revolves around the opioid epidemic and features three intertwined stories. The first sees a drug trafficker arranging for a huge Fentanyl smuggling operation between multiple cartels and the situation is nothing if not combustible. Then, there is architect, who’s a recovering addict, searching for the truth behind her son’s disappearance, while a university professor battles unexpected revelations about his pharmaceutical giant employer, leading to the man to find the links between the seemingly disparate stories.
Nicholas Jarecki penned and directed the project, while Evangeline Lilly, rapper Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, Armie Hammer, Greg Kinnear, Luke Evans, Lily-Rose Depp and Michelle Rodriguez round out the talented ensemble. Crisis has actually already started to see some good critical notices, with Oldman’s performance in particular being called out as exceptional. The movie will be released in cinemas where available on February 26th and will hit VOD on March 5th.
