Trailer: Ben Affleck In Hulu’s “Deep Water”
The full trailer for 20th Century Studios and Adrian Lyne’s psychological thriller Deep Water has arrived on the heels of teaser which dropped last month. Ben Affleck leads the film opposite Ana de Armas.
The project was originally set for a theatrical release on January 14th of this year, but it was pulled from the release slate after numerous delays, and quickly announced for an exclusive streaming release on Hulu.
Notably, this is the first feature from Lyne in 20 years, after hitting it big with films like Flashdance and Fatal Attaction. His last production was actually the Richard Gere and Diane Lane picture, Unfaithful, which released back in 2002.
Deep Water is based on the novel by The Talented Mr. Ripley author Patricia Highsmith and sees the titular stars (Affleck and de Armas) as a married couple who like to play mind games with each other in increasingly twisted fashion.
Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Dash Mihok, Finn Wittrock, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard and Michael Braun also star in Deep Water, which is scheduled to drop on Hulu on March 18th.
