Teaser Trailer: Zack Snyder’s “Army Of The Dead”
Zack Snyder’s next feature will be the his fully realized version of 2017’s Justice League, and while that may be his most anticipated, it his far from his only upcoming project. In fact, Netflix has just premiered a brief teaser trailer for the director’s zombie heist feature Army of the Dead.
The film, which sees Snyder returning to the genre where he first started with 2004’s Dawn of the Dead remake, follows a group of mercenaries who plot a heist on a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak. And Snyder has collected a very talented ensemble, which includes Dave Bautista, Theo Rossi, Garret Dillahunt, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ella Purnell, Matthias Schweighöfer, and Ana de la Reguera.
Snyder has promised that the flick is full of action and it is actually just the start of a potentially sprawling franchise, with Netflix already planning a four-hour animated prequel series on the way. Army of the Dead will stream globally May 21st on Netflix.
