Superbowl Trailer: Marvel’s “Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness”
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the next big screen installment of the MCU and Marvel dropped a trailer for the feature during last night’s Superbowl that has been a big hit thus far,
The new film picks up after the events of the Disney+ series Loki, which saw the Asgardian tricker play an integral role in the multiverse opening up, and titular doctor’s actions in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw Strange tap into the multiverse in an attempt to help Peter Parker.
Elizabeth Olsen is also on hand for the action, reprising her role as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in a key supporting role, that may even see her morph into something of a villain. Interestingly, while everyone from Tom Cruise as Iron Man to Daniel Radcliff as a new Wolverine have been rumored to be taking part in the supernatural sequel, it appears that Sir Patrick Stewart, known to comic book movie fans as the X-Men’s Professor X, has a part to play in the movie, though whether he is the character he’s famous for or not is still up in the air. Even so, many are hailing Stewart’s apparent involvement as proof that the X-Men are officially apart of the MCU.
Whatever the case, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens on May 6th and will see the returns of Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor to franchise alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.
