Official Teaser: “Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Pt 1”

While the teaser leaked on social media over the weekend, Paramount has officially released the first trailer for their upcoming feature, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1.

Dead Reckoning Part 1 marks the seventh film in Tom Cruise-led franchise and will see all the regular supporting cast, including Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames, returning for the sequel. Also making a comback are Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge and Vanessa Kirby as the White Widow from the first and sixth films, respectively. They’ll be joined by severable notable new additions, including Marvel’s Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) and Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy), as well as Esai Morales as the project’s villain.

Rounding out the cast is Cary Elwes, Shea Whigham, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, and Rob Delaney. The film boasts a $290 million budget and notably filmed in Rome and the UK. Dead Reckoning is purportedly going to be the final appearance of  Cruise’s Ethan Hunt character, paving the way for a semi-reboot with new characters leading the franchise going forward.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 will open in cinemas on July 14th, 2023, while Part 2 kicked off filming this past March.
