New Trailer: Warner Bros. and DC’s “Wonder Woman 1984”
Brazil’s CCXP event was a little short on new footage from upcoming projects, bar a few films, such as Warner Bros. dropping a brief clip from Godzilla vs. Kong. One other notable exception, though, is the DCEU sequel, Wonder Woman 1984 which premiered a brand-new trailer.
The trailer release follows from the very positive early reactions that have been popping up over the past few day. The film is being praised for its optimistic tone, and strict adherence to the period in which its set, with many stating it feels ripped right out of the 80s.
Even with another trailer, much of the plot remains unknown. The mysterious return of Steve Trevor and Kristen Wiig playing fan-favorite character, Cheetah, are both points intrigue for the movie that fans continue to speculate about.
Patty Jenkins returns for the sequel, which brings back much of the principal cast from the first out. The feature marks the first film from Warners to be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max, a decision that has rankled exhibitors. Wonder Woman 1984 will be available on December 25th.
