Teaser: Marvel’s “Thor: Love And Thunder”

The Thor franchise has become one of the most beloved in Marvel Studios catalog, following the semi-reboot in Thor: Ragnarok and Chris Hemsworth’s versatility in the role, being stoic and serious at certain points and then transitioning seamlessly to laugh out loud hilaroous. Now, Disney and Marvel have released a teaser for the upcoming fourth installment, Thor: Love and Thunder.

The film picks up with the titular Norse God on a journey for inner peace and restful place to live after so many adventures. However, his retirement from the hero game gets cut short by Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who wants to eradicvate all of the “Gods.” Once again, Thor will have to stand and fight, though he won’t be alone, as he recruitsthe help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi). He’ll also turn to is former girlfriend, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who, somehow, is able t0 wield his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.

The film will also feature The Guardians of the Galaxy, including Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, and Karen Gillan. Thor: Love and Thunder also sees the return of Matt Damon, Jaimie Alexander, as well as new faces like Melissa McCarthy and Russell Crowe . The Marvel epic is currently slated to hit theaters on July 8th.
