Official Trailer: Disney And Marvel’s “Moon Knight”
One of the most exciting new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been the Disney+ shows that have garnered a significant amount of critical and audience acclaim. And while Marvel Studios has announced a plethora of exciting series thus far, one of the most unique and applauded has been Moon Knight, which released its first trailer last night during an NFL game.
Oscar Isaac is set to portray the titular anti-hero, in a series that will likely see the origins of the Marc Specter, a man who becomes a conduit for the Egyptian God of the Moon and then suffers from a form of dissociative identity disorder as a result. Specifics on the plot are being kept under wraps, though, and there hasn’t been any confirmation on what story might be told in the series.
Notably, Ethan Hawke has been tapped as the villain for the project, while Gaspard Ulliel and May Calamawy co-star in significant supporting roles. Kevin Feige, Tommy Turtle and Jeremy Slater produce, whilst Justin Benson, Mohamed Diab, and Aaron Moorhead have all been lined up as episode directors.
Marvel’s Moon Knight will be dropping on Disney+ from March 30th, which makes it the next MCU project in the pipeline, hot on the heels from Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye.
