Zynga Releases “Star Wars: Hunters” Gameplay Footage

There are a number of exciting Star Wars games on the horizon, but one the most intriguing is the free-to-play offering from developer Zynga, titled Star Wars: Hunters. While a specific release date has yet to be announced, the studio just released some gameplay footage to hype the project.

Gamers can choose from various playable characters from across the Star Wars canon to participate in high-action team battles. The game will also include many familiar locales for teams to battle in, including Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor, as well as many others.

The footage follows a pair of Jawa brothers, an angry Wookie and a droid who thinks it’s a Jedi. Players will be able to customize their characters in four-on-four battles. The game is a competitive arena combat video game which will be available on the Nintendo Switch, as well as mobile platforms.

Star Wars: Hunters will debut sometime in 2022.
