“Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask” Coming To Switch Online
The Legend of Zelda is one of the longest running and most beloved franchises in gaming. Nintendo has been famously protective of its IPs over the years, with perhaps the Zelda series getting help back the most, with a proposed series falling to pieces a few years back. But while the cinematic aspirations of the franchise have never gained much traction, the future is bright indeed for the franchise on the gaming front.
In fact, Nintendo has announced a February 25th release date for “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask” on the N64 app of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This marks the first time the game has been included in the service and it will join other Zelda games such as Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past.
Now, this isn’t quite the remaster that many fans have been hoping for, as Nintendo has been hesitant to pull the trigger on that, despite the success and critical acclaim of the Link’s Awakening and Wind Waker remasters. Should the title prove to be a hit on the as part of the online expansion pack, it could lead the way for a Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remaster in the future.
